Dr. Kalai Ekambaram is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner with a decade of experience providing holistic, patient-centred care in Australia. Graduating from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India, in 2009, she relocated to Australia to further her medical career after completing her internship. Dr. Ekambaram has since honed her expertise across a range of specialties, including general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine, and urology, during her time at both Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital.

She completed her General Practice training in rural South Australia, serving the communities of Port Augusta and Loxton, where she gained valuable experience working with diverse patient groups. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr. Ekambaram is known for her warm, empathetic approach and strong commitment to preventative care and long-term wellness.

In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Ekambaram enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as indulging in her passions for cooking, music, and travel.
